Sessions House

Work has been completed at Sessions House and it has been opened. The Sessions House has now realised its potential as a National Centre of Excellence for Jewellery and Goldsmithing. The interior layout of the building was altered in a way that both respected its past and allowed more room available. The building had additions made to both sides. A new floor slab with underfloor heating was erected after the ground level was demolished. In the process, a well was discovered. A circular glass screen was constructed on the bottom part of the mezzanine floor of the main court chamber. The structure was fully furnished to meet the requirements of its intended use as a National Center of Excellence for Goldsmithing and Jewellery.
